Air Tanzania officially touched down on South African soil on Friday, 28th June 2019 with a VIP delegation awaiting it’s arrival.
This momentous occasion was celebrated during an exclusive event which was held at O.R. Tambo International airport to mark the return of the airline to South Africa is a significant step in recognising the importance of the relationship between Tanzania and South Africa as they continue extending the wings of Kilimanjaro over Africa and beyond. The investment, trade and tourism opportunities presented by expanding its network will certainly add value to both countries as they strive to offer affordable and improved connections between Tanzania and South Africa. Air Tanzania is determined to connect South Africa to Tanzania by offering the least connecting time and affordable tickets.
Air Tanzania flights between JNB-DAR will commence with four frequencies on days Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
