Since launching Amazon Prime Video has been a great addition to what is now the streaming generation. The shows that form part of its catalogue are quite impressive some of which have already won big at this year’s Emmy Awards. If anything it shows that the service is here and here to stay. Modern Love – October 18
Modern Love, coming to Amazon Prime Video on October 18, is inspired by the popular New York Times column of the same name. This half-hour romantic comedy series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as each standalone episode brings some of the column’s most beloved stories to life with a stellar cast. All eight episodes of the anthology series will launch in over 200 countries and territories on Amazon Prime Video.

Goliath – October 4
Season Three of Goliath, starring Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Billy Bob Thornton, will premiere Friday, October 4, streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Amazon Studios Announces Overall Deal With Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Amazon Studios announced it has signed an overall deal with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator and star of the Emmy Award-winning Amazon Original series, Fleabag. Waller-Bridge, a multi-hyphenate talent, will create and produce new television content for Amazon Studios that will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories. Fleabag won six 2019 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, with Waller-Bridge winning both Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.
Lord Of The Rings – Filming Announcement
Amazon Studios announced that its series based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic fantasy novels The Lord of the Rings will shoot in New Zealand. Pre-production has started, and production on the series will begin in Auckland in the coming months.
Thursday Night Football – launches September 26
For the third straight year, Amazon Prime Video brings NFL fans around the world Thursday Night Football Presented by Bud Light Platinum and launcheshe new innovations allowing Prime members to experience the game they love like never before, with a new lineup of expert insight and analysis, access to robust live data and a simplified experience.
The Thursday Night Football schedule on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch kicked off Thursday, September 26 at 8:20 PM Eastern with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles.
