Dave Chappelle is probably one of the immediately recognisable individuals in the comedy space whose without a doubt one of the greats to have ever delved in the genre. He’s back once again on Netflix this time with a special titled Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones. It’s no secret that we are massive comedy fans as highlighted in our previous posts here, here, here and much more. So it comes as no shock that we had to put this one in the spotlight and offer it as one of our picks. Plus it doesn’t hurt that we are massive fans of Chappelle’s work and wouldn’t flinch at the thought of re-watching any of his comedy specials.
Officially streaming on Netflix as of yesterday, in Sticks & Stones we find Dave Chappelle taking on gun culture, the opioid crisis and the tidal wave of celebrity scandals in a defiant stand-up special filmed in Atlanta. Now if that’s not enough to get you intrigued and wanting to stream this immediately then, honestly, what is wrong with you? One thing is for sure though, we will be watching this immediately!
