The event was held at the Kyalami Grand Prix circuit and International Convention Centre and completely sold out! There were over 35 000 attendees over the 3 days and every day there was something new to see.
Of all these different aspects, there was one stall that had the crowds buzzing from the time that the doors opened in the morning, to the very last minute of the show each day – The Funko stand had collectors such as ourselves rushing to Comic Con Africa so that they can get their hands on that missing piece of their Funko collection. Collectors did not mind standing in an 80m long queue just to be able to come and look at all the characters that were on display. See the full picture essay after this jump.
