‘C,’ it turns out, is for color — not cookie, or cheap or China. Yes, the pretty in pastel iPhone 5c, Sir Jony Ive’s repackaged ode to Apple’s last-gen iPhone, as well as the iPhone 5s will be joining Vodacom’s lineup starting Friday, 15 November 2013.
The operator will be offering both iDevices on a two-year plan respectively. Confirmation on pricing hasn’t been released as yet. That means you’ll still have to pony up a monthly fee for either device, the amount of which depends on the particulars of your voice and data package.
*UPDATE: MTN has joined in the party, they have just confirmed via their witter page as well that they’ll be launching the device on 15 November. Mother Mary!
*UPDATE: Vodacom just released their pre-order sheet for both the 5s & c with pricing starting from R399 on the 5c (16GB) and R469 for the 5s (16GB) on their smart S plan for 24 months.
