With just over a week to go before Women’s Health launches their inaugural Women’s Health Live Festival, tickets are selling faster than the amount of time most people can plank for and we just cannot wait for all the good things to come. There’s a lot to unpack before the event, but a handful of thing stand out among the rest, including all the details on guest speakers, a surprise cooking demo, and more.
The festival is an extension of other events
Following on the massive success the publication has enjoyed with their popular countrywide Women’s Health Fit Night Out events over the last 3 years, fans can look forward to even more on the weekend of 10th and 11th of November: more days, more stages, more speakers and even more brands.
There’s a handful of guest speakers
Visitors to the festival can listen to Amanda du-Pont, Unathi Nkayi, Tumi Morake, Lorna Maseko, Mapule Ndhlovu, Zuraida Jardine and more sharing their incredible stories, expertise, advice and star power. The programme line-up and stars will be different each day, but on both days, visitors have the chance to partake in beauty pop-ups, like getting your hair done at the ghd Dry Styling Bar, stock up on festive season gifts from talented local designers and try new movement classes, like rebounding with Lisa Raleigh or Rockingnheels with Takkies.
Sharpen your (healthy) cooking skills
There’ll be food trucks and the Fry’s Plant–Based Food Court serving up delicious, healthy meals and bubbly will be flowing.
Freebies Galore
In addition to all the talks and workshops, ticket holders get FREE beauty makeovers and ghd hair styling, as well as plenty of freebies and surprises from the event’s official partners and sponsors, including a R500 ghd voucher. All guests will also receive a limited-edition Women’s Health shopper, which they can fill up as they make their way around the Festival.
