Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this month, The Jim Henson Company’s groundbreaking sci-fi series, Farscape, is now available to watch on Prime Video. All four seasons of the award-winning cult favourite have been newly remastered, so that die-hard fans and sci-fi aficionados can now watch the entire series in HD.
Farscape follows astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder, Stargate SG-1) who, during an experimental space mission, is hurled across a thousand galaxies to an alien world. In his quest to return to Earth, he finds himself aboard a starship populated by escaping political prisoners from a variety of alien cultures. Crichton must rise to the challenge of surviving in a world he barely understands, keeping one step ahead of the pursuing Peacekeepers, a race of deadly mercenaries who will stop at nothing to capture him.
Amazon Prime Video Picks Up American Gods for Third Season
Amazon Prime Video has picked up a third season of the hit Prime Original series, American Gods, following the successful premiere of the second season on Monday, March 11, 2019. The series, which is exclusively available in more than 200 countries and territories on Prime Video outside of the U.S., is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by award-winning author, Neil Gaiman.
Best known for his work on Hemlock Grove, The Walking Dead, Dexter and The Shield, Charles “Chic” Eglee will join the ‘god squad’ as showrunner for the upcoming third season of American Gods.
Fans can stream all of season one of American Gods now on Prime Video. New episodes will be released every Monday over the next seven weeks for Prime Video members around the world to enjoy.
Amazon Studios, Philymack, Federal Films And The Jonas Brothers To Partner On Documentary Giving Fans An Intimate Look Into The Lives Of Kevin, Nick, And Joe Exclusively For Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Studios, the Jonas Brothers, Philymack, and Federal Films, a division of Republic Records, today announced they will partner on an upcoming documentary about the Jonas Brothers, to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories. Marking the band’s first original release in nearly six years, and debut under their new partnership with Republic Records, their highly anticipated comeback single “Sucker,” and accompanying music video, are out now. More details about the documentary, including a premiere date, will be announced later.
Amazon Studios Announces Overall Deal With Executive Producer And Writer Erik Oleson
Amazon Studios announced it has signed a new overall deal with showrunner, executive producer, and writer Erik Oleson. Oleson, who was most recently the showrunner and executive producer of “Marvel’s Daredevil,” will work with Amazon Studios to develop and produce original series that will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The new deal reunites Amazon and Oleson, who was the head writer and executive producer of the second season of the Amazon Prime Original series The Man in the High Castle, which garnered Oleson a USC Scripter Award Nomination in 2017.
Customers can enjoy Prime Originals such as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Man In The High Castle, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and The Grand Tour, and exclusive TV shows like American Gods, Preacher and Mr Robot.
