One To Watch - The Highwaymen

When two veterans link up in a movie complete with an equally great cast, you can’t help but sit up and take notice. A great example of this in action comes in the form of Netflix’s newly released flick called The Highwaymen starring Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson. As if that wasn’t enough, the plot also makes it worthwhile with it being based on a true story about two men many (including us before this) didn’t know much about:

From director John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side), THE HIGHWAYMEN follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done.

Yes you read that correctly, this story is based on the men who took down the famous or notorious (depending on how you look at it) crime couple, Bonnie and Clyde. After also watching the trailer above we are pretty sure that you will agree that this one has some extra sauce to it. Officially released today and available to stream and/or download, we are definitely one of the many who will be checking this one out this weekend.
