Honda has unveiled the refreshed 2019 Civic sedan that builds on the 10th generation Civic line. Along with updated styling, 2019 also brings a truck load of tech to the series. The front of the car was tweaked to accentuate the low and wide stance and sporty looks. The upper fascia wing is piano black, and the lower fascia, bumper, and grille are restyled.
The Civic can be had with restyled halogen or LED headlights and a chrome accent on the lower rear bumper for the sedan. It gets new wheel designs with the 1.8 Elegance and 1.5T Executive trim getting larger 17-inch wheels featuring scythe-shaped spokes in Dark Grey. In line with its overtly dynamic character, the 1.5T Sport gains 17-inch alloys finished in Berlina Black, augmented by a dark coating.
Inside, you also get an updated 7-inch Display audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on Elegance, Sport and Executive models, making this the most convenient and connected Civic ever.
Honda is working hard to roll out its Honda Sensing driver safety system to all its cars by 2022. The 2019 Civic will get Honda Sensing as standard on Civic Executive models. That system includes Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning; Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) incorporating Lane Departure Warning (LDW); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS); and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
Pricing for the refreshed 2019 Civic models begins at R364 500 for the 1.8 Comfort CVT.
