This May, Netflix’s highly anticipated second African original, Blood & Water, will premier to a screen near you. The series boasts a female lead ensemble, consisting of Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, Natasha Thahane, and Cindy Mahlangu, who are directed by Nosipho Dumisa. Escape with them into a world of mystery, raw family dynamics and light-hearted relief. Please see the synopsis below.
At Parkhurst College, a prestigious inner-city school for Cape Town’s elite scholars and academic overachievers, we follow the exploits of the intelligent, proactive and impulsive 16- year-old Puleng Khumalo. She engineered her transfer to the school to investigate the 17-year- old cold case of her older sister, who was abducted-at-birth.
