It’s no secret that Samsung’s investing in Mzansi-side manufacturing as reported by MyBroadband earlier this year, considering its jet engine-like Smart TV line is being assembled in South Korea, but it looks like Samsung is getting even more serious about building things in the Africa, for Africa.
The South Korean multinational electronics company has just announced that Yoon and friends will be opening their latest TV manufacturing facility in Durban at The Dube Trade Port. After lengthy feasibility studies, it is expected for Samsung to contribute at least U$D 20 Million in investment, mounting for thousands of work opportunities.
