We guess EDM phenom AVICII has decided to permanently retire his ties with other tech brands and move on to greener pastures. Alcatel OneTouch has announced that they’ve picked up EDM DJ. AVICII, real name Tim Bergling as its “first global brand ambassador” with the intention of bringing awareness to the brand using a superstar DJ in a genre that transcends nationality perhaps more than any other. He’ll be more than just a sick (read; dope) producer with the OneTouch Hero 2 in his hand, too — He’ll apparently be working with the company’s design peeps to cobble together some to-be-named products and accessories starting with a Alcatel OneTouch #WeCreate party during IFA, though the extent of his involvement hasn’t been disclosed.
