Smartphone users who want to use their device to record audio in the best quality may not have very many options to live stream it, but it looks like the sound experts at Dolby are finally ready to release their own solution. The company has apparently, for the past 6 months or so, been quietly testing their live streaming feature to their popular Dolby On recording app that boasts of studio quality streams thanks to professional tools and settings.
For those not yet familiar with the service and how it works; Using a mobile device, the Dolby On can easily record and live stream audio and video with superior Dolby sound quality letting you capture the moment when it strikes with unmatched simplicity. The last bit is just PR talk until we get to sample the app for ourselves.

This new feature is warmly welcomed, if you ask us, given the current state of health and how live streaming seems to be here to stay.
In addition, the app also lets users cancel out background noise from their audio recordings, adjust bass and treble levels, and even apply effect presets like “Amped,” “Bright,” “Thump,” and “Natural.” According to the app’s description, “Dolby On automatically cleans up the sound, gives it tone and space, and finds the ideal loudness. It’s like having your own producer in your phone.”
