Today, Dstv announced its followup to last year’s rather expensive and immersive Explora. While you won’t get the same full immersive and somewhat highly interactive and rich in content TV experience the Explora supplies, this humble set-top box may be enough to suit your needs as it offers up to 1080i Full and advanced HTML5 support. Additionally, News24 and Supersport platform applications will let you watch live TV while browsing through the news or catching up on your sport reads. The box comes with a remote that’s far more streamlined than the company’s previous offerings, and NO you still can’t sync up your smartphone to select content. Though it isn’t the swankiest TV box around, the modest R499 price tag might be enough to lure customers in. For more info, get to your nearest Dstv branch or credited installer.
