FNB customers and subscribers can now stream, download, upload and share content through the FNB network without using up their high-speed mobile phone data. The moves comes as a reward for using the bank’s digital platforms. That equates to over 3 million Gigabytes of data that will be given away to customers.
In addition to being rewarded for using the banking App, customers will also be rewarded for taking up any of the newly launched ConeXis smartphone deals or qualifying FNB banking products. The data can only be used on the FNB Connect network and will be free of charge for customers.
The bank’s move also signals its intent to make FNB Connect a telco provider of choice and their strategy already has a head start with over half a million SIMs already active of the network. In September, FNB Connect introduced the latest ConeXis X2 and A2 smartphones with competitive packages to advance the bank’s digital migration strategy.
FNB customers can pick up Connect SIMs and packages at any of its branches or order them from the FNB online banking platform without additional documentary requirements.
The data incentive will be available from 1 November 2017 until 31 January 2018. For more information on the data give away, consumers can visit the FNB website from 1 November 2017 to get the breakdown of qualifying telco packages, banking products and transactions.
