Hulu original series Helstrom to premiere on Fox

Based on the popular Marvel Comic book created by Paul Zbyszewski, Helstrom is a supernatural thriller live-action series that is set to premiere exclusively on Fox Africa (DStv 125). Set to air on Mondays at 20:45 (CAT) from 12 July 2021, Helstrom follows the son and daughter of a mysterious serial killer, Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon) and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity, each with their own attitude and skills.

Tom Austen (Granchester, The Borgias) stars as Daimon Helstrom. A professor of ethics who moonlights as an exorcist, Daimon has no illusions about saving a world he has no patience for. He just hopes he can help a few of the people closest to him. In his battle against a hidden world, Daimon is determined to root out demons as they arise and will not stop until they’re vanquished.

Sydney Lemmon (Succession, Fear The Walking Dead) plays Ana Helstrom. By day, Ana runs a successful auction house and suffers no fools, but her true interest lies in hunting down those who hurt others. Traumatized by her father as a child, Ana is driven to rid the world of those like him, even as she secretly worries her father will return.

Other cast include Elizabeth Marvel (as Victoria Helstrom, mother to Daimon and Ana), Robert Wisdom (as Caretaker), June Carryl (as Dr. Louise Hastings), Ariana Guerra (as Gabriella Rosetti) and Alain Uy (as Chris Yen).
