The much anticipated Hyundai Kona N has been teased without any camouflage in a series of images released by Hyundai this afternoon.
The Kona N will be Hyundai’s second N model in the Mzansi and the brand’s first performance SUV, and it definitely won’t be the last.

With the new teasers we’ve got a much better look at the Kona N’s aggressive front end. It’s quite similar to the recently unveiled Kona N Line, but the hotter model has a unique grille pattern, more open lower intakes and a red accent on the splitter. There’s an N badge in the grille too, of course, and it looks like the Kona N will be offered with matte paint.
When it comes to numbers, outputs have yet to be officially announced, it’s expected they will match the figures quoted by the updated i30 N, namely 206kW of power and 392Nm of torque.

The 2021 Hyundai Kona N will be unveiled in full in the coming weeks, ahead of an South African launch in the last quarter of 2021.
