IMAX expands footprint in SA; coming to two more theatres

Looking to get the IMAX experience while you’re down south? If you can manage to hold off a bit longer (June 2015), you can.

Announced earlier today, Ster Kinekor has inked deals to get its digital projection systems into two additional venues in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth respectively, the additions are at Cradlestone Mall and BayWest Mall. As it stands, IMAX theaters already operate in Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban (Gateway) but plans are to have a total of ten open in the country by end of 2016
