A few days ago I received a review offer or another wireless printer, not having to come across one before, I hesitantly agreed and cannot wait to get my hands on the device. Question remains, who still cables up to a printer these days? I have Apple’s AirPrint on my iPhone while my lappy relies on Google’s Cloud Print.
Now say Hello Hi to Samsung’s Cloud Print, which is scheduled to launch with an Android app (duh!) in June followed by an iOS version in the second half of the year. Rumors have it a Smart TV app will follow shortly thereafter. All apps are said to come with high security promises where users will have their data encrypted between their devices and printers.
Those into NFC can rejoice as the android app will also support this feature, allowing a compatible mobile device to be connect to as many as 20 printers with Judy a few simple taps. Given that your printer is NFC enabled of course.
