The Lumia 730 is available on contract at an expected price package of R229 p/m with a 1GB data bundle included as part of the package and will be available in stores as of next week. What is particularly unique about this phone is its dual sim capabilities. While one sim card is in use the other one is placed on standby mode, and one can still receive all their calls and text messages. You also have the option of choosing your primary sim card and number.
This vibrant phone features a 6MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera which takes outstanding pictures and comes standard with a Nokia selfie application for all those who like seeing themselves in a better quality view. However I somehow feel that the selfie application still needs a bit more work as some people had difficulty in taking pictures of themselves and had to ask other people to press the “capture” button for them which was a bit of a distraction and hassle for some. Nonetheless it is generally a good cell phone with an elegant high gloss finish. One can also create folders on the home screen and it also features Lumia denim.
This outstanding (emphasis on ‘selfie’) smartphone also allows for more freedom to personalise your device as you please. The phone has a screen mirror feature which lets you easily view your phones display on your television or any other device with the screen mirror feature. It also boasts a 1080P display. Those of us who like being woken up multiple times before reality kicks in that they have to wake up, the phone features a feature whereby you can adjust and actually change the snooze times. For all those gaming fanatics with Xboxes, they can link the phone directly to their Xbox live network and check their points and also monitor online friends whom you can challenge on your desired game and continue enjoy other great features which come standard with the phone. It’s a very competitive smartphone in its category with a fast processing speed, did I also mention the outstanding image enhancement features.
Microsoft has certainly upped its standard and is competing amongst the best in the game. It’s available in a variety of vibrant colours such as Lime green, bright orange, white and black.
