If ever there was one movie we would give anything to see on the big screen this year it’s this one coming from Christopher Nolan, our fave movie director of all time and it comes in the shape of TENET. Various previews of this one came out last year with no definitive first look being visible which helped with build up even more intrigue. This was the case until we finally got the first trailer and what a preview it was:
Nolan’s TENET is an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage. Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen. TENET was filmed on location across seven countries. The international cast is led by John David Washington and also includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron T.
The movie is being produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan. Thomas Hayslip served as executive producer. Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson, and special effects supervisor Scott Fisher. The score is composed by Ludwig Göransson.
Coming from one of the brilliant minds of our generation who produces mind bending movies that are usually equally brilliant conceptually ((including Inception, Intastellar, Dunkirk, The Dark Knight trilogy and more), it’s easy to see why we call TENET a MUST SEE. It’s scheduled to be in cinemas 17 July…we hope!
[Updated] The movie is now set to be in cinemas from Friday (28 August 2020)
