We are definitely here for this one, Netflix is set to release a documentary (Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates) based on a fascinating individual who has reinvented the concept behind computing software. Microsoft co-founder, billionaire, and philanthropist Bill Gates is by far one of the immediately recognisable individuals of our time who has been a pioneer and a leader not only in the technology space but also as a philanthropist done mostly through his Gates Foundation which he runs alongside with his wife Melinda Gates, a powerhouse in her own right. There’s a lot to admire about this man and thanks to Netflix we’ll now get a chance to get into his usual thought process.
Set to release on the 20th of September, this three-part documentary tells Bill Gates’ life story, in-depth and unfiltered, as he pursues unique solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems. From Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, He Named Me Malala).
What’s also interesting to see in the trailer is the documentary will answer lighter questions like what Gates’ favorite animal is (dog), what his favorite food is (hamburgers), and what his greatest fear is (that his brain will someday stop working). Quite the fascinating watch it should be, we can’t wait.
