Still haven’t scored the courage to buy a device on Orange’s online store, and missed out on the rare public-online-only sales? You may want to book a flight to Cape Town. Orange has revealed its first-ever retail shop, which will officially open in Cape Town sometime around January. As you might imagine, the product selection is anything but limited — it’ll offer a range of smartphones, of course, but you’ll mostly find accessories like cases and headphones and smart wearables too.
To make up for this, Orange is positioning this as an “experience” with a water bar as well as plans for both customer training and get-togethers. Plans for a Jozi store seems like a definite although mum — so the company has a long way to go before it can even consider a worldwide retail empire.
