As you may have spotted, we’ve had a serious change of style here at SA VIBE over this past weekend. Our new design gives us more room for bigger homepage images, better highlights feature content and editorials, and makes it easier to navigate between our network sites using the topbar. It should also load faster, which means you can get to the latest news in consumer electronics even quicker, and has better integration with threaded comments.
Our fresh new look is the handiwork of designer George Rauten who has also been responsible for well-known themes such as Portfolious with solid art direction from myself – of course. SA VIBE has been tested with Microsoft Edge, FireFox, Safari, Opera and Chrome, so if you’re seeing any issues with any of those browsers, please let us know via email info@savibeza.co.za
We’ve also taken the opportunity to drop support for previous Internet Explorer editions. Given the leaps in security and usability since Microsoft ended development for the old browser, it makes sense for anybody still using it to upgrade to one of the many (free) alternatives.
This is among the first of a number of new developments for SA VIBE and the SA VIBE Media Network, which we have planned for the coming months. Remember, you can follow us via our RSS feed, via the email mail-out, or on the Twitters.
