The annual Sunday Times’ Top Brands survey – now in its 16th year – took centre stage on Friday, 29 August to announce its Top Brands for 2014. Conducted by Times Media, 3,500 interviews were conducted as part of the survey to collect feedback from consumers on how they perceive brands. With this, Samsung walked away with 4 awards from the evening coming in either first or second place in four tech related categories. The South Korean giant walked away with top honours (1st place) as the Cellphone brand of choice and second as the Computer tablets & E-readers brand in the Business category as well as 1st place in the Electronic Goods brand and second as the cell[phone of choice in the Consumer category. Congratulations ought to be in order for the team in Bryanston.
