Sony Bravia W850B-series TV’s now available in SA

In a rather quiet announcement that’s decidedly less exciting than the current rainfall across SA, Sony SA shared news today that select W850B-series TVs are now available across South Africa. A published press release lists two CES models, including the 60 and 70 inch models. You can pick up the 70-inch model for R39 990 while the 60-inch model will run for R29 999 respectively. With these W850B’s approaching the top of their class, though, we’re tempted to hold out for Sony’s 4K versions, then again, when are they scheduled to reach South Africa?
