We’ve seen some interesting link ups but nothing quite like this one where Bollywood meets Nollywood in a movie cleverly titled Namaste Wahala. It’s the love story we never knew we needed this Valentine’s Day in what is a romantic comedy, all set to launch on Netflix (unsurprisingly) on 14 February. We for ones approve of such collaborations and hopefully we’ll see more of them.

Namaste Wahala is a feel-good love story about an Indian man who falls in love with a Nigerian woman. The film follows their journey of falling in love and the challenges that they must overcome in order to be together. Expect a whole lot of humour as we bear witness to the cultural differences between the two families.

Directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, Namaste Wahala is so much more than just an unforgettable love story between Didi and Raj. The film is packed with family drama, Indian style dance sequences and a soundtrack that will turn your romantic movie night into a dance party.

The movie stars leading actress Ini Dima-Okojie, Mofe Damijo, Ajoke Silva, Osas Ighodaro, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Segal Sujata, Adaora Lumina, Ibrahim Suleiman, Frodd, Imoh Eboh, Osas, Eneeicha, K10, Mexemania and Pay ’Tience among others.

Netflix have officially proclaimed this one as their gift to all of us this Valentine’s Day. Should make for quite the interesting watch in the month of love, speaking of which and in case you missed it, here’s what else you can watch this month on Netflix.
