It’s been a busy year for Samsung so far. Not only did we have the reveal of the Galaxy Note 20 in August, the company fully detailed the Galaxy Z Fold 2 as well. Just when you thought they are done, they followed that up with the Tab S7 series. Now this past week the company announced the pricing and availability of additional products, the Galaxy Tab A7.

The Galaxy Tab A7 has a 10.4-inch 2000 x 1200 display according to Samsung’s announcement. Samsung says that the tablet can boast an 80% screen to body ratio, and it sounds like the company wants to position it as a media device, as it says that the Galaxy Tab A7 is “the ultimate on-the-go picture and sound entertainment experience.”

The Tab offers 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and use a 7,040mAh battery. Running the show will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.

Galaxy Tab A7 is available in-store, starting at just R4,999. Purchase the tablet in Dark Grey through Samsung Online Store and all major retailers. Shoppers who purchase Tab A7 also receive 50% off the Book Cover Case from now until 31 December 2020. That could ultimately be a good thing for Samsung, because with the pandemic causing everyone to tighten the belt a little bit, it’s definitely hard for some to get excited about R6 000+ devices. In any case, we’ll let you know when we get hands-on with it, so stay tuned for that.
