Just like last years event, the 2021 Festival of Motoring, previously scheduled for August, has been officially called off.
Originally planned for August this year, the 2021 show was postponed due to the pandemic. Messe Frankfurt South Africa, which organises the show, announced earlier today that the uncertain logistics of the pandemic and its impact on the industry and the economy at large, it thought it in the best interest.
“The safety of our exhibitors, attendees and staff is of the outmost concern for us. We believe this to be in the best interest of the industry and the event,” said Joshua Low, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt SA.
The organisers will now focus their efforts on planning for next year’s show, to be held sometime in August 2022. The exact date is yet to be confirmed.
