Under Armour, under its official South African distributor Apollo Brands, has launched a new online store, taking its much loved TriBase, Charged, and the new Machina direct to runners and novice complete with the promise of exclusive accessories usually unavailable through regular retailers. The store, currently serving to the South African market, is part of Under Armour’s attempt to own its sales experiences, even as retailer enthusiasm cools given the current climate.
Timing could not be better as Under Armour SA announces the launch of their new online platform to encourage consumers to stay at home and safe.
“In today’s retail climate being able to track and source data leading consumer trends and behaviour has never been so important.” says Gareth Kemp, Managing Director Under Armour SA.

In addition to this, there’s also an online booking site where shoppers can book a time slot for a virtual and interactive shopping experience, private store consultation, shop @ home service where they dispatch one of their ‘Tech Specialists to your house for a personal shopping experience’ or even a shop @ work experience where a Mobile Shopping Unit can visit your offices for a team shopping spree. Given that you fall under the areas they currently service.
The new websites will allow customers to easily purchase performance products from the safety of their own home. Whether it be running gear, train gear or the latest fast or long-distance trainers to lock in the kilometres.
