So we are firmly into 2019 complete with new beginnings still lying ahead with every possibility available. With that said though, it’s also great to look back and reflect on previous moments. Most of these moments actually turnout to be our most memorable, for us this was the recent AfroPunk Joburg 2018 event that took place at Constitution Hill on New Year’s Eve.
The event had everything, from different fashion to colour, right down to great musical live acts. All of these different elements contributed to provide a spectacular event that, despite the heavy rainfall, literally lit up the Joburg CBD. We unfortunately weren’t there for Day 1 but Day 2 more than made up for it and that was the day when all the major acts performed with a mix of both local and international hitting the stage with our standouts being Thandiswa, Phuzekhemisi, The Internet and Kaytranada. The perfect way to wrap up 2018 and usher in 2019.
To get a picture of what went on, checkout some of the videos the AfroPunk guys were cool enough to share with us from both days.

Day 2:
This was just a taste of what went on and we can’t wait to checkout the next installment coming towards the end of this year. Great music mixed with equally great performances complete with great company made for a fantastic experience…our thanks to the AfroPunk team.
