Giveaway: WIN Tickets to the Uncovered Movie Premiere

We had recently mentioned that local film content is on the rise and it turns out we weren’t just saying that. Another local movie is upon us and ready to hit the big screen. Titled Uncovered and exclusive to Ster Kinekor cinemas only, Uncovered is a story directed by the SAFTA Award winning director Zuko Nodada, who also directed Matatiele, Meet the Khambules, Between Friends.

The cast includes well known South African actors like comedian Fezile Makhanya, Sthandiwe Kgoroge (nee Msomi), DJ Happygirl and Dumisani Mbebe. As well as Nqobile Khumalo, Sorisha Naidoo and comedian Thenjiwe Khambule. Newcastle-based film-maker, Simphiwe Qwabe.

The theme of the story is one of Mzansi’s most burning topics currently; LAND! Uncovered tells the story of a fearless female journalist who takes on a mine magnate in search for the truth about the people who killed her parents. In her journey she uncovers a lot of corruption and loses another family member in the process.

Now as the title of this post suggests, you could be one of the individuals lucky enough to win tickets to the official premiere set to take place on Thursday, 15 Aug 2019 at The Zone in Rosebank. Oh and did we mention that the above cast members will also be in attendance? Well they are and you can get the chance to rub shoulders with them…and who knows perhaps even steal a selfie or two with them.
