ESPN Africa has today announced it will be broadcasting the United Aviation Group League of Champions show-jumping event across the African continent. The first leg of this prestigious equestrian event will air on Friday 5 May at 14:00 (CAT), adding to the multitude of exciting US and African sporting content that ESPN currently offers African viewers.
The United Aviation Group League of Champions showcases the glitz and glamour of the riding world set against the fierce competition for the ultimate prize in South African show jumping. Combining the bravery of riders, the enormous talent of magnificent horses and strategy of competitors as they compete in one of the only team events on the equestrian calendar, this fast-paced event showcases some of the best equestrian talent and horses the African continent has to offer. The League of Champions features four heights with riders ranging from 18 to 65, who jump against each other and the clock to determine who can clear the obstacles with the fastest time and the fewest errors.
