For the the budget minded-consumer dodging Samsung’s heavier R1.5 million on TV, we’d recommend taking a look at LG’s 105-inch 4K (they call it 5K, because of the expanded number of pixels horiontally) set launched earlier today.
LG has revealed it’s 5K beast going on sale, but fitting it into your budget will still be tougher than squeezing one into your house. That’s because this giant costs R1000 000.
Beyond coming with an integrated speaker (value!) this is quite a nice 65-inch TV for your kids instead of that tertiary education they wanted — of course, as much as we like high-res TVs we’re not sure any of them are worth two Audi A4’s.
