Tecno Mobile has announced the local launch of its midrange handset, the Camon 17P. The phone has hit shelves in Mzansi this week, and will be set at a competitive sub R4999 price tag.
As far as technicalities goes, the CAMON 17P boasts a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS Hole screen, while on the punch hole on top you’ll find a 16MP Clear Selfie Camera and 64MP AI Camera on the rear. All of this is powered by a G85 Octa-core processor.

According to Tecno, the 8 core CPU with HyperEngine game optimization is their fastest chip yet, giving users exceptional performance.
Underneath the good stuff is a 5000mAh 18W Flash charging battery and a 6GB memory which allows for seamless multitasking.
We’re yet to get our hands on it, but until then, see their campaign launch video after the jump.
