Chinese manufacturer Hisense launched a new range of TriChroma Laser TVs at CES in January, which, according to the brand will increase colour performance by almost 50 percent more than high-end cinemas.
Hisense launched this cutting-edge display with a transformative product line of Laser TV – TriChroma Laser TV. Dr Liu Xianrong, the Chief Scientist of Hisense Laser Display, explained that the technology controls separate lasers to get purer colours for display. A 128% improvement is achieved in the original RGB colour. TriChroma also attains 20% brightness enhanced at the pixel-level with a 430-nit picture brightness, exceeding that of a regular TV.

Empowered with TriChroma laser technology, the new TV product lines include various screen sizes, from 75-inch to 100-inch. Since the colour gamut coverage reaches up to 151% of the DCI-P3 film colour standard, it is almost 50% beyond high-end cinema.
